Fall Tackle Football:
NEYSA participates in the York County Youth Football League, which hosts our tackle football season with games commencing in August and running into early November for children in Kindergarten through 7th grade. Registration is done online only and opens in May with practices generally starting in late July.

2024 NEYSA Fall Tackle Football

Overview

NEYSA will again participate in the YCYFA Football Program with teams being assigned and commencing practices in August and games commencing in September. We expect practices to be 3 weeknights per week for 2 hours each practice, with games on Saturdays or Sundays. Final practice schedules will be distributed once teams have been assigned, and game schedules will come out from the league in late August. YCYFA Playing Rules

Eligible Players

The Tackle Football Program is open to boys and girls who are in grades 2-7th in the fall of 2024 and meet the following criteria:

Currently reside in the Northeastern School District; or

Do not reside in NESD, but NESD is the closest participating program to the player’s home (for example, players residing in West Shore District are eligible to participate with NEYSA)

All Players Must have a Sports Physical within the last year. Physicals must not expire during the Fall Football season. A new physical will be required before the player participates in the program.

Divisions

Rink - 2nd & 3rd grade (cannot be more than 9 years old on 8/31/2024)
Pony - 4th - 5th grade (cannot be more than 11 years old on 8/31/2024)
Midget - 6th - 7th grade (cannot be more than 13 years on 8/31/2024)

Volunteer Hours Are Required!

Families are required to complete volunteer hours throughout the season. These hours include assisting with the concession stand, time clock, chain crew, field set-up/clean-up, etc. NEYSA Football is solely run by volunteers. More information will be communicated at the beginning of our season.

Fundraising

All registered players are required to participate in our program fundraiser.
A $50 Fundraiser Buyout for each family is available during registration.

Registration Fees

$250 - Early Registration - Closes June 15th @ 9:00PM
$275 - Standard Registration - Closes July 19th @ 9:00PM
$300 - Late Registration - Closes July 26th @ 9:00PM
Family Discount Available ($20 discount for each additional player, must be registered at the same time!)
$50 Fundraiser Buyout for each family.

2024 Football Registration Includes:

NEW JERSEY REQUIRED FOR THE 2024 Season
Please measure your child and choose the correct size according to the 2024 Sizing Chart
Jerseys will be ordered according to the size that you select during registration. NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES for incorrect sizes!
A deposit of $150 Due July 19th to get a Personalized Jersey - Standard “Bobcats” jersey will be provided for any registrations after the cut off.

Required Information that Needs to be Completed During Registration:

Sports Physicals must be completed before registration. The information must be uploaded during registration and verified prior to starting the season. Physical Link
Birth Certificates are required to be uploaded during registration.
School Records are Required to be uploaded during registration (Sapphire screenshot with School and Grade, or current report card)
YCYFA Parent Code of Conduct is required to be digitally signed during registration.
FBI Waiver – required for all coaches.
