Welcome!
NEYSA is a non-profit organization that promotes and fosters sports on the youth level in the
Northeastern School District of Pennsylvania.
NEYSA meetings are held the second Sunday of every month (see calendar for details).  They begin at 7:00 pm and are held at the Mount Wolf Fire Hall.
We encourage everyone to attend and to be involved!

Safety in Youth Sports Act...

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett signed the "Safety in Youth Sports Act" into law
on November 9, 2011. The law becomes effective on July  1, 2012.

Although this new law does not impact NEYSA directly, we are taking it seriously and
voluntarily applying some of the requirements.  Starting this year, we are requiring
all head coaches to complete the National Federation of High School - "Concussion in
Sports - What You Need To Know"  online training.  This will aid our coaches in
identifying concussions and understanding the seriousness of such injuries.
