2011 Spring Season Success

Congrats to our players and coaches.

Neysa had 12 teams in baseball this year 10 had winning records.

     14-16 Division 7 Champions                                               14-16 Division4 5 Seed in Playoffs

         11-13 Susquehanna A 2nd Place                               11-13 EYC-B 4th Place 

              8-10 Susquehanna A 2nd Place                        8-10 EYC-B East Orange Sox 12-2  1st Place

                                         8-10 EYC-B East Flyers 10-2-1 2nd Place

NEYSA #2 - coached by Barry Bare won first place

NEYSA #1 - coached by Jeff Slaseman won second place

On November 6th, in Craley, NEYSA #2 edged out NEYSA #1 in an extra inning defensive battle, 7 runs to 4.  Of the 19 teams entered in the division these teams fought their way to the final to treat the NEYSA parents and fans to an "All NEYSA championship game."  Both teams played an excellent game and showed great sportsmanship!

NEYSA Winter Baseball

Come join NEYSA coaches and players at voluntary winter practices at the York YMCA Baseball Academy.  Cost is 10 dollars for a 1 hour workout every Sunday from 10-12.  Please Contact Chris Thompson if you are interested in attending.
